FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

IJACIA RESOURCES

Clear answers. Better decisions.

A quick reference for prospective authors, reviewers, and readers as the journal establishes its editorial operations.

About the journal

Is IJACIA accepting submissions now?

Not yet. The journal is being established. The author portal will be activated and clearly linked from the For Authors page after the editorial process, terms and systems are ready. Please do not email manuscripts without an invitation.

What subject areas are in scope?

Applied cybersecurity, information assurance, governance, security engineering, operations, digital forensics, cybersecurity education, and relevant emerging technologies. See Aims & Scope for detailed examples.

How will double-anonymous review work?

Authors and external reviewers will not be given each other’s identities during ordinary review. The editorial office retains identifying information to administer the process. Editorial screening precedes independent expert assessment.

How much does publication cost?

Fees and the licensing model have not yet been finalized. Any charges, waivers, and other material conditions will be disclosed before submissions open. No fee commitment is being made here.

Does IJACIA have an ISSN, DOI or indexing?

Those identifiers and services are not being claimed at this stage. ISSN status, identifiers, archives and indexing will be announced only when verified.

How often does IJACIA publish?

IJACIA has a semiannual publishing schedule of two issues per year. The specific release months and inaugural issue date will be announced before the first issue is published.

Who publishes the journal?

The journal is published by 1665 Media Group, a division of Blackwood Harbor & Co. Richard Lightcap, PhD is the Editor-in-Chief; Ervin Frenzel, PhD and Allen Spector, DSc are members of the Editorial Board. See the Editorial Board.

Can I volunteer as an editor or reviewer?

You can introduce your expertise to the editorial office. Editorial appointments and reviewer invitations require qualification review, conflict-of-interest screening and formal acceptance.

How do I contact the journal?

Use the Contact page. An interim coordination mailbox is used for initial journal questions, not secure manuscript uploads. A dedicated journal address will be announced.
